right now i am quite mad

at the parental controls on our computer! i was just trying to download photoshop onto this computer and it wouldn't let me b/c i had to have a password. my parents are the only ones that know the password, so i couldn't download it. my mom has a headache and so she is taking a nap, so she couldn't help me. and of course daddy is at work, so he couldn't help me. so that is why i'm not putting pics from my camera on here today. sorry.

yeah, also on sunday when we had matt and his family over (i'm not allowed to put their last name on here so that's why i'm calling them that), i wanted matt to see the pics from my bday party, so i turned on the computer and got on my blog and waited for it to load, and that took quite a while. then i finally got it up, and the parental controls blocked the pics....yeah, i was very mad. so then i got on my parents computer, and as soon as i got it up, we had to leave to go to church. grrrr! oh well.

anyway, sorry for complaining. wait....that sounds familiar.....oh yeah, i had to tell that to laura in an email...oops. ok, i know it seems like it, but i really don't complain all the time. just lately i have a little....sorry!

we had alot of fun on sunday. i didn't take very many pics, but when me, ben and matt were in the car on the way to church i took a hilarious video that i'll have to put on here. i'll just warn you though, daddy burps in it, so if you can't stand crude things, i advise you not to watch it. actually it was dark and you can't really see much, but you can hear everything. it's hilarious. i really want to put it on here, but i can't yet!!!!!!! grrrrr. well.....maybe i can figure out a way to just put the video on the computer without downloading the other pics......hmmmmm.....

ok, well, i think i'm gonna try to figure that out now...so i'll prob be posting again soon!

Hey Beth,

Just so you know…I work in the IT department, and we have ‘parental controls’ over the entire company’s internet access. So, don’t get too frustrated, we adults have the same at work sometimes. :0)

wow, doesn't that make it hard to do whatever you're supposed to do? yeah, i think where my mom was working they either had some kind of controls on the computers, or the computers automatically sent wherever you went online to someone in control or something. that's good, but it would be annoying sometimes! =)

Well, the program itself and we are constantly updating it so it will filter out what we don't need showing up at work, yet allowing what we do need. Sometimes people have to call us to unblock entire sites, because it even blocks out tobacco and alcohol websites - but we are a Worker's Comp company, so we sometimes have to unblock the sites to some of our clients so our employees can view their information. Trust me when I tell you every single webpage is recorded by the computer, then the server, the webfilter, the service provided, and the X.25 (Government - Big Brother).

Just look at how much information you can pull up by viewing SiteMeter (your visitor counter). I have the same counter, and if you go to www.sitemeter.com and log into your account, you can view all sorts of information about visitors to your blog.

The internet is a great tool, but there is so much more to it that I believe will one day be used to aid the Antichrist.

Hope I didn't scare you...just some interesting facts. :0)

oh cool! i didn't know you had a site meter thing too! yeah, i love looking at all the info about the ppl that look at my blog. like, it is so cool when i look at 'location' and it's like someone from australia or something! it's awesome! and then there's someone from new york that looks at my blog all the time, but idk who they are....it drives me crazy!!!!!! lol =)

oooh. that is kinda scary! =) like what do u think will be used for the antichrist? i'm soooooo glad i won't be here to see everything the antichrist does. but i'm scared that alot of my family memebers will though. that is really scary.

anyway, i hope you are having a wonderful thanksgiving!!!!!!

we are just about to go over to our friends house. we have sooooooo much food! haha!

happy thanksgiving!
