so....today's my bday!

i don't really know what to post about though! ummm.........oh yeah!! tonight we're having grandma, grandpa, ANT janet, jessica, and maybe mamaw over for dinner. we're gonna have sooooo much fun!!!! i haven't seen jessica in quite a while, so i can't wait to see her!!!!! just in case i haven't said this before, jessica is my dad's sister, his other sister is ANT janet.

oh yeah, i'm not actually fourteen yet. unfortunately i have to wait until about six o'clock tonite.

um.....er! i can't think of anything to post about!!!!!! um......we had fun yesterday at our friends' house! we ate, talked, and played games the whole time. it was a lot of fun! we actually only played two games, but we played them each for quite a while. we played 'pit' first. that game is sooooooo much fun! we got it at a yardsale, and we LOVE it! so we taught them how to play it, and now they like it alot too! then after we all had a headache from that game (it's really loud =), we played 'catch phrase'. i love that game too! my grandparents have it, but it's an old version. i would like to get the new version of it sometime.

we'll prob play pit alot tonite. we all love that game, it'll be VERY loud with jessica, daddy, and ANT janet there! haha! if you've never played that game, the reason it's so loud is b/c....well, i can try to explain it.

ok, so there are eight different commodities. examples: wheat (100 pts), flax (5o pts). wheat is the most valuable commodity and flax is the least valuable. but anyway, you start out with 9 cards each. the object of the game is to get 9 cards of all one commodity. so when someone rings the bell, you start. you are trying to collect all of one commodity. so you hold, for example, one card in your hand and yell, "ONE! ONE! ONE!!!" and just keep yelling that until either someone trades with you or you give up and try two. you can trade up to four cards at a time. if you have more than one card, they all have to be one commodity, you have to have like, all wheat or all rice, or whatever. you can't trade rye and flax at the same time. hmm....this is prob very confusing....so i'll try video-taping a round of it tonite. it'll be very loud and hard to understand but it'll be funny! (heh heh =)

ok, anyway.....um....oh yeah, i need to email all the tipos and tell them the idea my mom had for 'flannel and frappucino nite'. that's a youth activity we have at our church. it is sooooo much fun! we all wear flannel pants, and drink frappucinos! but that's not all we do....yeah, that would be pretty boring if that was all. so it's like a drive-in movie. we're supposed to make a cardboard box car. it's soooo much fun! and we watch a movie while sitting in our cars. if you don't make a car, then you have to pay 2 dollars to go. i made a car last year. it was kinda um....not cool. haha! well, we have this thing where you vote for the coolest car, the cutest car, and the most functional car (i think that's it). yeah, i voted for laura's car for the cutest, and she wanted to vote for mine for something. but she couldn't decide which catagory to put it in cuz it was kinda lame. yeah, that's what happens when i come up with the design and then paint it myself! my dad helped with the shape of it, and that was pretty cool, but the colors were kinda weird. it was like, blue and mauve. lol! it was blue with mauve flames on it. heh heh...yeah. i have a pic of it on my parent's computer. oh yeah! one cool thing about it was that the headlights turned on and off! they were two of grandpa's flashlights and they were the same color and size, so i just cut holes out in the front and stuck them in there. oh and i borrowed two of grandpa's license plates too! he collects liscense plates. so that was something cool about it.

ok, anyway, my mom had the idea that me, laura, bri, erin, and kat could make a train. we could each make a train car! wouldn't that be cool?! yeah, i already have the box for my car. it's the box from my mom's stand mixer. it's pretty big. ok, we just remembered that someone made a train last year, so that prob wouldn't be good. oh well. last year, someone also made a banana for a car! it was awesome!

ok, so i'll have to put the pic of my car on here! i also need to put the pics of my nails on today. well, i g2g! ipml!

i forgot to thank you for putting my name in your book! that was soooo nice of you! i read the chapter of the book that u sent me. it was soooooo good! i can't wait to read the rest of the book now!!!!! =)

the part with the seal on the foreheads of all the believers was cool. i had forgotten about the judgements and everything. so are you going to put all the judgements in that book? the fiery hail was the first judgement right?

oooh! i just can't wait to read the rest of that book!!!!! haha! that chapter was so good! and i can't wait to tell matt that i got to read it and he didn't (lol). ok, i know that sounds mean, but it seems like everything we both read, he reads first. so he knows what happens and usually he ruins the book for me. one time he even told me that one of the characters in a book died! i was sooooo mad at him! and he failed to mention that she came back to life.

anyway, i would love to ruin the book for him and tell him that vandor becomes blind, but i prob won't do that. it wouldn't be satisfying anyway b/c matt wouldn't care anyway. lol

ok, so when baitrs dies, it said that he suffered the same fate as piradad and his fathers. so did piradad die?

oh yeah, i thought it was hilarious that the word 'causeth' was underlined with one of those annoying squiggly lines (i hate those things b/c if i'm writing something that has strange names in it it gets pretty annoying =), but then names like pyktis and baitrs were not underlined!! =)

well, have a great week!!!

this is soooo funny! ya know how you used words in different languages for names in your books? well, i was just looking at the outline for the book i was attempting to write and i realized that i had named the two cats in the book, 'tipo' and 'sosegada'! 'tipo' means 'dude' in spanish, and 'sosegada' means 'peaceful' in spanish! and i did that like, way before i even knew anything about your books! isn't that funny? i had totally forgotten about that! do you mind if i keep those names? i'm not trying to copy you or anything, and MY book will MOST LIKELY not ever be published!

I enjoyed incorporating a character in my book for (or rather as) you. Like I mentioned to your mom, it is fun for me to have people in the book that I know. The readers may not know them, but I do. And I think it would be neat to look back over the books and remember the people and their character names in years to come.

I think that is the longest chapter of the entire book…at least so far. Must have been the rest in Kansas that gave me time to think, for I feel like I haven’t had time to write on my book or my blog since then. I hope you are being honest that you thought it was good. If you think I need to do anything differently with your character, now is the time to say it. :0)

Without telling too much, Vandor has been giving ‘special’ sight – basically spiritual sight, similar to the guy in the Bible that Christ healed his eyes and he said he saw men as trees [Mark 8:23-25] (remember we either are a good tree or bad tree). Ashvar covers his lips, because the others cannot see the seals within the foreheads. This idea comes from Revelation 7:3 talking about judgment not coming until the servants of God are sealed within their foreheads, and Revelation 9:4 says those without this seal will be hurt. Just as those who follow the Antichrist will have his mark, name, or number upon their heads or hands [Revelation 20:4], those of Christ will be sealed within their foreheads.

I hadn’t really thought about the judgments when I used the fiery hail, but I just checked and you are correct, that is the first judgment. I am not sure as to whether I will use all of the judgments or not, but I do plan to use the horsemen of Revelation 6. Of course the ‘white’ is the Antichrist – Jagare – I plan to use the red horse (war), the black horse (famine), and the pale horse (death) as servants sent out by King Salvare to fight the Gibborims (brothers of Jagare) across Erde.

Hmmm…does Piradad die? I’ll give you a hint. Piradad symbolizes the false prophet…what happens to the false prophet at the return of Christ? I hope I haven’t spoiled the book too much for you…it will probably be next year before it is ready even for editing. Possibly I can send you a pre-edit version if I ever finish it. Sounds like you have fun with Matt; he must be a good friend. He may care if you spoiled a book for him, but would not give anyone the pleasure of knowing he cares. :0)

That is funny about ‘causeth.’ I just love some of the Old English, King James Bible words, even though we don’t really use them nowadays. I probably did not right click it, and choose ‘add to dictionary.’ Just did it while typing this in MS Word.

***************
That is really neat about the names you chose for cats in your book! I hope ‘tipo’ is a boy cat! Hahaha! Those are your names; you are free to keep your imagination and use it! ‘The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.’ [Ecclesiastes 1:9] This verse shows there are probably a lot of writers which have had the same ideas as us as using other languages of words for our characters. SURE your book can be published. All you need to do is write it! You write it, let your mom or someone edit it, then I can help you get it published on Lulu and CreateSpace, which can get it listed onto on-line book stores. Be confident and give it a try. Worse case will be like me…not really sell many, but enjoy writing it.

Later,
Tim

hey mr. waldrop!

yeah, that would be neat to have people in your book that you know. i would've done that in my book, but i didn't want ppl to think that the personalities were like the real ppl. jacob was gonna write a book with me, erin, matt, and him in it. we were all the main characters. i was the evil person. i was going to make matt's character fall in love with me and then end up killing him after he had betrayed all his friends for my sake. this is how highly jacob thinks of me. no, he just likes to tease me. =)

oh i really did think the chapter was good! i loved it! it was very absorbing and exciting! and i think my character is awesome too! =)

oh! that's cool! i didn't get why ashvar covered his lips, so thank you for explaining it! does it explain it later on in the book?

wow! that is soooo cool that you hadn't even thought of that as being the first judgement, and yet you were correct about it!!! that is soooo cool!!!

i think the most interesting judgement (personally) is the locusts. in the left behind series (i know that it can't be exactly correct, but it was a neat concept =) they were like little horsemen with human faces, and they shouted...um...i can't remember what it was, but it think it started with an A. i also think it was a name for satan....or something. but every time i listen to the audio version of the left behind, the kids that's my favorite part. the locusts just intrigue me for some reason. i mean obviously, they aren't good, but i just think they seem kinda neat (in a bad way, i guess). and i think it's awesome that they can't hurt christians. oh yeah, do you think that people will be able to accept Christ AFTER the rapture? i'm not sure about it. i've heard different views on it, but i don't really know what i believe. i REALLY hope that they can! because then, there would be more hope for unsaved ppl that i know. like, i know ppl that KNOW how to get saved, and prob even think that they are (and they might even be saved, it just doesn't seem like it). but maybe if the rapture happened they would realize their error and come to Jesus. idk. that just makes me feel better.

oh yeah, duh! he and the antichrist are thrown into the abyss right? but it said something about how piradad died with a 'fiery sword' or somehting like that. maybe i read the name wrong.
you didn't spoil the book for me! =)

no, please don't send me the pre-edit version. thank you, but i want to BUY the book, so i'll want to read it when i've bought it. but thank you anyway! =)

yeah, i have alot of fun with matt. but like, over half the time we're together, we're arguing...but it's not like, mean arguing, it's just 'friendly' arguing. =) we were even doing that tonight over something in "the two towers". i found out that legolas is like, 700 years old and i was very sad b/c he's sooooo cute in the movie!!! well, of course he is since he's orlando bloom....ok, sorry. you're prob not interested in that! lol =)

wow! thank you very much for mentioning that about adding the word to the dictionary! i totally didn't know you could do that!!! so now i don't have to deal with the annoying squiggly lines anymore!!!! yay! thankyou!

lol, yeah, 'tipo' is a boy! i just remembered that they're not cats, they're tigers! lol. i had written that they were cats in the outline, but then i decided that they should be tigers (since i can't have a tiger, the characters in my book should be able to...sniff).

that verse is neat. i think i'd heard it before, but i can't remember. haha, thank you for offering to help me if i finish it! =)

You - the evil person in a book! I should hope not. Hahaha! Interestingly, when Mrs. Teeny first asked if she could be in my book I told her ‘Yes’ that she could be a witch. I laughed though, and she knew I was just joking with her.

Well, I have actually only written a little of another chapter since the chapter I sent you, but I do plan to explain the seals within their foreheads and what it is that Vandor is actually seeing later on.

The locusts of Revelation 9 are interesting indeed, for it says of them that ‘the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.’

And the ‘A’ word you are probably thinking about is in the following verse, ‘And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.’

Do I ‘think that people will be able to accept Christ AFTER the rapture?’ I believe the answer is ‘Yes’ and ‘No’. I believe it will be a time that God moves away from the Gentiles to begin to work in the heart of the Jews again. Luke 21 speaks of ‘until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled,’ and Paul says in Romans 11, ‘that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.’ Just as God came to the Jews in the Old Testament, then to the Gentiles in the New Testament and today, I believe He will return to the Jews with the witnesses which ‘were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel’ during the Tribulation. There is a great deal of information and controversy surrounding this, but I believe the possibility of salvation will be more available (teaching, witnesses, etc.) with the Jews, still possible for the Gentiles who have not taken the mark of the Beast, but Revelation seems pretty clear there is no salvation for those who take the mark. Remember during the Tribulation there will be ‘strong delusion’, so it quite possible the Antichrist will explain away the Rapture…meaning so may still refuse to believe, especially if ‘no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.’ It will indeed be a terrible time to be lost.

Oh, that was Pyktis, a Gibborim and brother of Jagare who was slain by the fiery blade in the chapter I sent you. Here is the death of Piradad…warning spoiler!

------->
As the last Ubil left his body, Piradad did cough but a few more times before going forth to meet his Maker. Surprise that such laid ahead across death would be the least of Piradad’s concerns, as he would be brought to meet Him face to face; for the judgment of his actions would have eternal consequences.
Suspended outside of space and time, clothed only with his corrupt nature, Piradad faced a light so bright his eyes could not look upon it. Its illumination did burn his very soul.
He beheld a Voice as thundering and lightning that came forth from among the light, which sat upon a great white throne. Piradad could feel the warmth of the flames from the lake of fire directly below his feet, as the Voice from the throne before him did read from the books of the testaments.
Upon Piradad was judgment pronounced, to be bound together with the wicked. He was cast forth into the fiery lake, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth, to be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Cursings and railings did flow from his mouth against Jagare, the Wicked One.
<-------

I hope to finish book three sometime soon…because I already have a totally of 5 more book ideas. So many ideas, and sooooo little time!

Ah, it is fun to argue with friends, especially when you can keep from really arguing. I have a guy I know at my church and also a Pentecostal friend who I often argue scripture and Christianity with. It is exciting and we always make sure to not get personal enough where we will hurt each other or lose our friendship over our discussions.

You know, I have the Hobbit and the Lord of the Ring Series and have still yet to read them. I really need to do that I suppose. I can’t really say that I really noticed if Orlando Bloom was really that cute in the movie though…but I can understand why you might think so with his pointed elf ears and all. :0)

Hey…my favorite wild animal is the white tiger…that is neat that your book would be about such. I would encourage you write your book so I can read it!

haha! i don't even know her, but from her character in the book, i'm sure she could never be a witch! lol

yeah, i think they would be sooo creepy looking! eww! are they demons? i've always wondered about that b/c i just can't see God using demons to bring judgement upon the earth b/c that's what satan uses. but i know that God can use whatever he wants to, so of course it's possible.

YEAH! that's the word! they shouted both in the left behind series, when they were in like, america and stuff, they said 'apollyon' and then in israel they said 'abbadon'. thank you! it always bugs me b/c i can never remember the name that they're shouting! so the 'angel of the bottomless pit' who is that? is that satan or a demon or is it maybe even someone good? i totally don't know.

so you think that it'll be more likely for jews to get saved than gentiles? but it would still be possible for like, ppl we know to get saved?

yeah, i've heard alot of ppl say that they think that the antichrist will say it was like, 'space aliens' or something. and with the way so many ppl are....i'm sure they'll be easily convinced of it.

oh ok. thank you for sending me that =)

so did that already happen in the part of the third book that you've written? or do you just have it ready to put in at the part that it happens?

oh my goodness! five more books? will any of those be with the same characters?

yeah, it's very fun to argue. except when it's someone that i can't beat! like, my friend erin and i are pretty much equal in our abilities to argue. so it always ends up that neither of us gives in and then it's kind of tense afterwards. but sometimes it's fun to argue with each other. but i find it easier to argue with the guys that i know b/c i can always out-argue them =)

oh wow! you should read those books! i'm just on 'the two towers' right now, but so far all of the books that i've read have been AWESOME!

lol! well, i wouldn't expect YOU to notice that he's cute. but he is! it was funny, i was watching that movie for the first time and i told my mom,"legolas certainly looks like orlando bloom' and she didn't believe me. so then i paid close attention to the credits and i saw 'orlando bloom' and i was like YES!!!!!!! haha

really? that is sooooooo cool! i love tigers! my favorite breed of tiger is the siberian tiger b/c i just love what a deep orange it's fur is, but the white tiger is my second favorite! i have this amazing picture of a siberian tiger in the snow. it is sooo pretty!

i'm only on the third chapter of my book and there's like, over twenty chapters! so i'm not very far along. it'll be quite a while before i finish it (if i do =)

have a great weekend!!!!!

Okay, sorry, it has taken me a few days to get back to our conversation at one of your other posts. Alexis and Samuel had a Christmas program at school tonight, and they did very well with singing and all.

I would have to say, ‘Yes’ I believe the locusts of Revelation to be demons, or at least some type of fallen angelic beings. The reason is because Scripture says they come out of the bottomless pit, and we know that is the same place the ‘beasts’ arise from [Revelation 11 & 17]. This is also were Satan will be bound for 1,000 years [Revelation 20]. Both times [Revelation 9 & 20] it is an angel from heaven which has the key to open the bottomless pit. The names ‘Abaddon’ [Hebrew] and ‘Apollyon’ [Greek] both have meanings which show this one to be a demon or even Satan himself. Of course, there are those who believe John was using the locusts to describe modern technology (such as helicopters, bombs, etc.) that we have today or in the future.

Me personally, if we can believe in cherubim which look the way they do[Ezekiel 10], I suppose it is no big thing for us to believe the words of John in Revelation about the locusts. Remember Satan wanted to do a lot of bad things to Job, but could not do anything to Job unless/until God allowed it. It appears God will free these locusts to do the evil they want to do unto man, and will allow them to hurt those people that worship the beast instead of Christ. But, don’t let the unbeliever twist this into saying God is mean, no God is holy, and Scripture says God chastens people to move them to repent. People are refusing to repent and come to Christ in this age of grace, so the wickedness and suffering will increase. God must judge man’s wickedness, and either man will repent or perish in their sin. Always remember, God is gracious, for He has sent of Christ and has been very longsuffering with us sinners and this sinful world.

The reason I believe it will be more likely for the Jews rather than the Gentiles to be saved during the Tribulation is because of the way God has said He will work. We see Him working with the Jews in the Old Testament and promised to return again until the Jews. But, during this age of grace [blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in – Romans 11:25] Paul was the missionary to take the gospel to the Gentiles. Why? Because the Jews rejected Christ; therefore the message of Christ was sent unto us. Once the Tribulation arrives, God will return [Daniel’s 70th Week] to the Jews…so that will be His main focus (as the Gentiles are now) if you will. Scripture says, ‘whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved,’ and I believe that is during anytime this world remains – but, if one will not repent now with all the preachers, churches, and Christians…it seems very unlikely they will if there are very few underground or hidden churches spread out…but, our God is a merciful God.

As for book three, yeah the part I sent you about Piradad already happened before the chapter I sent you in book three. I really need some time to continue my thoughts on book three. Some of my other ideas you know are a Pre- Erde book, which would have characters like MaZak and such, but not Vandor and Kayla which wouldn’t be born yet. Possibly the Post- Erde book will continue some of the characters such as Vandor and Kayla, but haven’t had much time consider a good plot. I am currently (well, a little here and there) working on maybe a children’s book about 3 chipmunks. It is hard to write where it will not be over the kids’ heads, so I plan to let my kids read it once I am done to see how they do to see if it is too easy or too hard for 7 & 8 year olds.

So, you are on chapter three and you have seventeen more…you better get to work! :0)
Hope you and your family are having a wonderful week!

hi mr. waldrop!

cool! i bet it was fun watching them in that christmas program =)

yeah, i guess God is just allowing them to do what they want. that makes sense. yeah, i think it's annoying when people try to make it sound like stuff is going to be something THEY can imagine instead of what it's discribed as. like with the locusts being something in modern technology. why can't ppl just believe that it's gonna be what God says it's gonna be?!

yeah, it would seem kinda weird for ppl to ignore all the churches we have now. and then risk their lives to go to church later. i think that maybe people that know about God and think they're saved and go to church and everything, maybe if they're left behind then they will realize right away what happened and then come to christ. i think that would prob be what most of the salvations will be. but idk =)

wow, so you're working on ideas for all these books in your series, PLUS a children's book! wow. =)

that would be cool to learn about mazak's childhood (or just younger years) and stuff. and then also if you do a later series it would be cool to see what has happened with kayla and vandor!

yeah, with my book i always have a hard time making up very original ideas b/c i've read sooooo many books it's hard to remember what i've just completely made up and what i've read in someone else's book. so i'm always paranoid that i'm gonna copy someone! lol, now as long as i don't like, have a wizard and a ring and hobbits i'm prob ok =)

well, have a good weekend!!!!!
